Keepmemory

Privacy Policy

Effective 20 August 2026

Keepmemory does not collect, store, or transmit your photos. All photo analysis happens on your device. There is no account, no login, and no Keepmemory server.

1. Your photos

Keepmemory needs access to your photo library to find what is taking up space. It reads photo metadata — file size, capture date, dimensions, and whether a photo is a Live Photo, screenshot, or video — entirely on your iPhone.

Photos are never uploaded, copied off the device, shared, or sent anywhere. Keepmemory has no network capability for photo data.

2. What is stored on your device

To remember your choices between sessions, Keepmemory saves a small amount of data inside its own app container:

This data stays on your iPhone. Deleting the app removes all of it.

3. Advertising

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. Google is an independent third party and may collect the following to serve and measure ads:

DataPurpose
Device identifiersAd delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention
Usage dataAd interaction measurement
DiagnosticsCrash and performance reporting
Coarse location (country/region)Regional ad compliance

Keepmemory asks for your permission before any tracking happens. On first use you will see Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you allow it, Google may use your advertising identifier to show ads matched to your interests. If you decline, ads are served in non-personalized mode — you still see ads, they are simply less targeted.

In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, a separate consent form appears first. Declining there also results in non-personalized ads.

You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Your photos are never involved in advertising in any way.

Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Purchasing Keepmemory Pro removes all ads and the AdMob SDK stops requesting them.

4. Purchases

Keepmemory Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple. Keepmemory never sees your name, payment method, or Apple Account. Purchase status is verified on your device using Apple's signed transaction records.

5. What we do not do

6. Children

Keepmemory is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Your control

You can revoke photo access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Keepmemory. Keepmemory cannot function without it, but nothing is retained after revocation. Deleting the app erases all locally stored data immediately.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above is updated and the revised policy is posted on this page.
