Holofoil has no accounts, and the developer does not directly collect or store your personal data. Card scanning and recognition happen entirely on your device — your photos are never uploaded to us. Free usage shows Google AdMob ads, which may process certain data (such as device identifiers) to serve ads. The Pro subscription removes all ads.

The camera and your photo library are used only to capture or select a card image so the app can identify it. Recognition runs on-device; card images are processed locally and are not sent to the developer or any server.

To show market prices, the app may send a card identifier or search query (such as a card name and set number) to the developer's price service and to eBay. No personal information is sent, the request is not linked to you, and it is used only to return recent listing prices.

Free users are shown ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers (e.g., IDFA/advertising ID), coarse location (IP-based), and usage data such as ad interactions to serve, measure, and secure ads. IDFA is used for personalized ads only if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt; declining still lets you use the app fully (with non-personalized ads). The Pro subscription removes all ads.
